Windows 10 end of life support  (October 14th, 2025)

If your computer or laptop does not support Windows 10 after 14th October 2025, you don't necessarily need to replace it, but it might be a good idea to consider upgrading / upcycling or replacing it depending on its performance and compatibility.

After this date, Microsoft will end support for Windows 10, which means no more security updates, bug fixes, or technical support. Without these updates, your device may become vulnerable to security risks, and certain software or applications may stop working properly.

If your computer is relatively old and struggles to run modern software or updates, upcycling it with an alaternative operating system is recomended alternatively upgrading it with a newer model that supports Windows 11 might be another option but more costly. However, if your current device is still functioning well and meets your needs, you could explore alternative operating systems like Linux, which is supported on older hardware.

Ultimately, it depends on how essential security updates and software compatibility are for your daily tasks, as well as your budget.
